Anna Ruby Falls

north gaThis is one of North Ga.’s most spectacular waterfalls. It’s a fairly easy hike around a 1/2 mile up to the falls. The hiking path is paved, and well maintained with a few nice benches for resting along the way. Most of the hike is within ear shot and eye site of a beautiful cascading mountain river flowing alongside the trail. There are many locations to enjoy a perfect afternoon picnic, or dine at one of North Georgia’s finest all you can eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets serving fresh trout every night. There are several great camping spots in the area as well, ranging from well shaded tent sites to full RV hookups to one perfect tent site area where you can pitch your tent right next to a cascading mountain stream and sleep to the sounds of bubbling water all night. There is also a very unique small mountain village just minutes from this hike with many lodging, and dining choices, as well as many activity’s…
