north gaThis hike combines two water falls along the same trail. This is the first waterfall you come to. The hike to this fall is approximately one mile.

There are camping sites at the trail head, but for more elaborate lodging, you have a choice of two great opportunities. One is a small riverside campground that also offers small and very cheap campers cabins, and one small place that offers one bedromm budget friendly mountain cottages overlooking a fantastic waterfall, and two, a lovely mountain inn with a view over one of North Georgia’s most beautiful mountain lakes.

There is also a clean cool water mountain lake nearby for boating and excellent fishing.

If your in for a truly challenging hike not for beginners, there is another hiking trail that follows along a rushing waterfall for experienced hikers only that are in great shape.
